The Events

New York, memories today that are still burning after 11 September but have found a point of contact and poetry in the city of Milan with the NYC, New York Revisited exhibition. A project by Moreno Gentili, started in 1998 and materialized thanks to the contribution of Elisabetta, Luca and Stefano Trabaldo Togna, young dynamic industrialists working in the textile industry who have believed in the author from the very beginning. " You always hurry in New York City: skyscrapers and crowds, dinosaurs, a shiny jacket and a Christmas tree chase each other, seen from above, observed from below, while the Statue of Liberty salutes from way off, a long way off..." is written in the cover of the exquisite volume printed by Arti Grafiche Fiulane for Charta. The exhibition opened on 2 October at the Fondazione Mudima of Milan. Many personalities from the Italian cultural scene were present at the opening night.

One of the first introductory events held in New York has been a joint presentation of estrato® fabrics with the a new, younger model from the Isaia collection. The evening took place in the Isaia showroom in 5th Avenue, in early December 2002. Clients from fine department stores and specialty shops, together with specialised media, have highly appreciated these modern, luxurious garments made with outstanding and very fine estrato® cloths.

19th March 2003: an appointment with elegance and quality at the official opening ceremony of the Trabaldo Togna Factory Shop. Numerous guests took part in the evening party: well-known personalities, in the fields of business, culture and art, were entertained by the hosts Luca, Stefano and Elisabetta in a festive and not strictly professional atmosphere.
